sukutā khāile sei āma ha-ibeka nāśa

ei sneha mane bhāvi' prabhura ullāsa

SYNONYMS

sukutā khāile — by eating the sukutā; sei āma — that mucus; ha-ibeka nāśa — will be vanquished; ei — this; sneha — affection; manein the mind; bhāvi' — thinking of; prabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; ullāsa — delight.

TRANSLATION

Because of sincere affection, she thought that eating this sukutā would cure the Lord's disease. Considering these affectionate thoughts of Damayantī, the Lord was very pleased.
