rāse yaiche ghara yāite gopīre ājñā dilā
tāńra ājñā bhāńgi' tāńra sańge se rahilā
SYNONYMS
rāse — at the time of the rāsa dance; yaiche — as; ghara yāite — to return home; gopīre — the gopīs; ājñā dilā — Lord Kṛṣṇa ordered; tāńra — His; ājñā — order; bhāńgi' — breaking; tāńra sańge — in His association; se — they; rahilā — kept themselves.
TRANSLATION
During the rāsa dance, Kṛṣṇa asked all the gopīs to return home, but they neglected His order and stayed there for His association.
