pathe 'sijera bāḍi' haya, phuṭiyā calilā

SYNONYMS

tāre — the singer; milibāreto meet; prabhuŚrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āveśein ecstasy; dhāilā — ran; pathe — on the path; sijera bāḍi — thorny hedges; haya — were; phuṭiyā — pricking; calilāHe went on.

TRANSLATION

As the Lord ran in ecstasy to meet the singer, thorny hedges pricked His body.
