kurukṣetre dekhi' kṛṣṇe aiche haila mana

'kāhāń kurukṣetre āilāńa, kāhāń vṛndāvana?'

SYNONYMS

kurukṣetrein Kurukṣetra; dekhi' — seeing; kṛṣṇe — Lord Kṛṣṇa; aichein that way; haila mana — became His mind; kāhāń — where; kurukṣetre āilāńaI have come to Kurukṣetra; kāhāń — where; vṛndāvanaVṛndāvana.

TRANSLATION

When He saw the deities, Lord Caitanya thought He was seeing Kṛṣṇa in Kurukṣetra. He wondered, "Have I come to Kurukṣetra? Where is Vṛndāvana?"
