prāpta-ratna hārāñā aiche vyagra ha-ilā

viṣaṇṇa hañā prabhu nija-vāsā āilā

SYNONYMS

prāpta-ratna — the achieved jewel; hārāñā — having lost; aichein that way; vyagra ha-ilā — became very much agitated; viṣaṇṇa hañā — being morose; prabhuŚrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; nija — own; vāsāto His residential place; āilā — returned.

TRANSLATION

Lord Caitanya grew very much agitated, like a person who has just lost a recently acquired jewel. Then He became very morose and returned home.
