prati-rome prasveda paḍe rudhirera dhāra

kanṭḥe gharghara, nāhi varṇera uccāra

SYNONYMS

prati-rome — from each hair; prasveda — perspiration; paḍe — drops; rudhirera — of blood; dhāra — flow; kaṇṭhein the throat; gharghara — gargling sound; nāhi — not; varṇera — of letters; uccāra — pronunciation.

TRANSLATION

Blood and perspiration flowed incessantly from every pore of His body, and He could not speak a word but simply produced a gargling sound within His throat.
