premī bhakta viyoge cāhe deha chāḍite

preme kṛṣṇa mile, seha nā pāre marite

SYNONYMS

premī bhaktaa devotee attached to Kṛṣṇa by love; viyogein separation; cāhe — wants; deha chāḍiteto give up the body; preme — by such ecstatic love; kṛṣṇa mile — one meets Kṛṣṇa; seha — such a devotee; pāre marite — cannot die.

TRANSLATION

"Because of feelings of separation from Kṛṣṇa, an exalted devotee sometimes wants to give up his life. By such ecstatic love, however, one attains the audience of Kṛṣṇa, and at that time he cannot give up his body.
