parera sthāpya dravya keha nā khāya, vilāya

niṣedhiha ińhāre, — yena nā kare anyāya"

SYNONYMS

parera — by another; sthāpyato be kept: dravya — property; keha khāyano one uses; vilāya — distributes; niṣedhiha — forbid; ińhāre — him; yenaso; karehe does not do; anyāya — something unlawful.

TRANSLATION

"One who is entrusted with another's property does not distribute it or use it for his own purposes. Therefore, tell him not to do such an unlawful thing."
