"indra-sama aiśvarya, strī apsarā-sama
e saba bāndhite nārileka yāńra mana
SYNONYMS
indra-sama — like the heavenly King, Indra; aiśvarya — material opulence; strī — wife; apsarā-sama — like an angel of heaven; e saba — all this; bāndhite — to bind; nārileka — was not able; yāńra mana — whose mind.
TRANSLATION
"Raghunātha dāsa, our son, has opulences like Indra, the heavenly King, and his wife is as beautiful as an angel. Yet all this could not tie down his mind.
