dine prabhu nānā-sańge haya anya mana
rātri-kāle bāḍe prabhura viraha-vedana
SYNONYMS
dine — during the daytime; prabhu — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; nānā-sańge — by various associations; haya — becomes; anya — diverted; mana — His mind; rātri-kāle — at night; bāḍe — increase; prabhura — of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; viraha-vedana — pangs of separation.
TRANSLATION
Because the Lord associated with various devotees during the day, His mind was somewhat diverted, but at night the pangs of separation from Kṛṣṇa increased very rapidly.
