viḿśati vatsara aiche kailā gatāgati
anyonye duńhāra duńhā vinā nāhi sthiti
SYNONYMS
viḿśati — twenty; vatsara — years; aiche — thus; kailā — did; gata-āgati — going and coming; anyonye — mutually; duńhāra — of Lord Caitanya and the devotees; duńhā — the two; vinā — without; nāhi — there is not; sthiti — peace.
TRANSLATION
For twenty consecutive years this meeting took place, and the situation became so intense that the Lord and the devotees could not be happy without meeting one another.
