svarūpa kahe, — premavatīra ei ta' svabhāva
kāntera audāsya-leśe haya krodha-bhāva
SYNONYMS
svarūpa kahe — Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī replied; prema-vatīra — of the girl who is too afflicted by love; ei — this; ta' — indeed; svabhāva — the nature; kāntera — of the beloved; audāsya — of negligence; leśe — even by a fractional part; haya — there is; krodha-bhāva — anger.
TRANSLATION
Svarūpa Dāmodara replied, "It is the nature of a girl afflicted by love to become immediately angry upon finding any neglect on the part of her lover."
