dui-guccha tṛṇa duńhe daśane dhariyā
prabhu dekhi' dūre paḍe daṇḍavat hañā
SYNONYMS
dui-guccha — two bunches; tṛṇa — straw; duńhe — both of them; daśane dhariyā — holding in the teeth; prabhu dekhi' — seeing the Lord; dūre — in a distant place; paḍe — fell down; daṇḍa-vat — like rods; hañā — becoming.
TRANSLATION
Seeing the Lord from a distance, the two brothers put two clumps of straw between their teeth and immediately fell down on the ground like rods, offering Him obeisances.
