ācārya-kalpita artha ye paṇḍita śune

mukhe 'haya' 'haya' kare, hṛdaya nā māne

SYNONYMS

ācārya-kalpita — imagined by Śańkarācārya; artha — meaning; ye paṇḍita śune — any learned person who hears; mukhe — only in the mouth; haya haya — yes it is, yes it is; kare — does; hṛdaya — his heart; māne — does not accept.

TRANSLATION

"All the interpretations of Śańkarācārya are imaginary. Such imaginary interpretations are verbally accepted by learned scholars, but they do not appeal to the heart.
