eta bali' namaskari' kaila gańgā-snāna
eka kaupīna, nāhi dvitīya paridhāna
SYNONYMS
eta bali' — saying this; namaskari' — offering obeisances; kaila — did; gańgā-snāna — bathing in the Ganges; eka kaupīna — only one piece of underwear; nāhi — there was not; dvitīya — second; paridhāna — garment.
TRANSLATION
After reciting this mantra, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu offered obeisances and took His bath in the Ganges. At that time He had on only one piece of underwear, for there was no second garment.
