ińhāke candana dile, gopāla ha-ibe śītala
svatantra īśvara — tāńra ājñā se prabala
SYNONYMS
ińhāke — unto Gopīnātha; candana dile — when sandalwood will be given; gopāla — Lord Gopāla in Vṛndāvana; ha-ibe — will become; śītala — cool; svatantra īśvara — the most independent Supreme Personality of Godhead; tāńra — His; ājñā — order; se — that; prabala — powerful.
TRANSLATION
"If the sandalwood pulp is smeared over the body of Gopīnātha, then Gopāla will be cooled. After all, the Supreme Personality of Godhead is completely independent; His order is all-powerful."
