choṭa-vipra kare sadā tāńhāra sevana
tāńhāra sevāya viprera tuṣṭa haila mana
SYNONYMS
choṭa-vipra — the younger brāhmaṇa; kare — does; sadā — always; tāńhāra — his (the old brāhmaṇa's); sevana — service; tāńhāra — his; sevāya — by the service; viprera — of the old brāhmaṇa; tuṣṭa — pacified; haila — became; mana — the mind.
TRANSLATION
Indeed, the young brāhmaṇa always rendered service to the older one, and the old man, being very satisfied with his service, was pleased with him.
