prabhura anuvraji' kūrma bahu dūra āilā
prabhu tāńre yatna kari' ghare pāṭhāilā
SYNONYMS
prabhura — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; anuvraji' — following behind; kūrma — the brāhmaṇa named Kūrma; bahu — much; dūra — distance; āilā — came; prabhu — Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāńre — him; yatna kari' — taking much care; ghare — to his home; pāṭhāilā — sent.
TRANSLATION
When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu left, the brāhmaṇa Kūrma followed Him a great distance, but eventually Lord Caitanya took care to send him back home.
