mora jihvā — vīṇā-yantra, tumi — vīṇā-dhārī

tomāra mane yei uṭhe, tāhāi uccāri

SYNONYMS

mora jihvā — my tongue; vīṇā-yantraa stringed instrument; tumi — You; vīṇā-dhārī — the player of the stringed instrument; tomāra manein Your mind; yei uṭhe — whatever arises; tāhāi — that; uccāriI vibrate.

TRANSLATION

"My dear Lord, my tongue is just like a stringed instrument, and You are its player. Therefore I simply vibrate whatever arises in Your mind."
