premāveśe kare tāńre daṇḍa-paraṇāma
aśru, pulaka, kampa, sarvāńge paḍe ghāma
SYNONYMS
prema-āveśe — in ecstatic love; kare — does; tāńre — unto him; daṇḍa-paraṇāma — obeisances, falling flat; aśru — tears; pulaka — jubilation; kampa — trembling; sarva-ańge — all over the body; paḍe — there was; ghāma — perspiration.
TRANSLATION
As soon as Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu saw Śrī Rańga Purī, He immediately offered him obeisances in ecstatic love, falling flat on the ground. The symptoms of transcendental transformation were visible — namely, tears, jubilation, trembling and perspiration.
