akṣauhiṇyā parivṛtaḿ
su-vāsaḥ-samalańkṛtam
sa-patnīkaḿ puras-kṛtya
yayau rudrānumoditaḥ
SYNONYMS
akṣauhiṇyā — by a full military division; parivṛtam — surrounded; su — fine; vāsaḥ — whose clothing; samalańkṛtam — and adorned with ornaments; sa-patnīkam — Aniruddha with His wife; puraḥ-kṛtya — putting in front; yayau — He (Lord Kṛṣṇa) went; rudra — by Lord Śiva; anumoditaḥ — given leave.
TRANSLATION
At the front of the party Lord Kṛṣṇa then placed Aniruddha and His bride, both beautifully adorned with fine clothes and ornaments, and surrounded them with a full military division. Thus Lord Kṛṣṇa took His leave of Lord Śiva and departed.
