dṛṣṭvā viklinna-hṛdayaḥ

kṛṣṇaḿ snehena pāṇḍavaḥ

cirād dṛṣṭaḿ priyatamaḿ

sasvaje 'tha punaḥ punaḥ

SYNONYMS

dṛṣṭvā — seeing; viklinna — melted; hṛdayaḥ — his heart; kṛṣṇam — Lord Kṛṣṇa; snehena — with affection; pāṇḍavaḥ — the son of Pāṇḍu; cirāt — after a long time; dṛṣṭam — seen; priya-tamam — his dearmost friend; sasvajehe embraced Him; atha — thereupon; punaḥ punaḥ — again and again.

TRANSLATION

The heart of King Yudhiṣṭhira melted with affection when he saw his dearmost friend, Lord Kṛṣṇa, after such a long separation, and he embraced the Lord again and again.
