śrī-śuka uvāca

ity ādiśya nṛpān kṛṣṇo

bhagavān bhuvaneśvaraḥ

teṣāḿ nyayuńkta puruṣān

striyo majjana-karmaṇi

SYNONYMS

śrī-śukaḥ uvācaŚukadeva Gosvāmī said; iti — thus; ādiśya — ordering; nṛpān — the kings; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; bhagavān — the Supreme Lord; bhuvana — of all the worlds; īśvaraḥ — the master; teṣām — of them; nyayuńkta — engaged; puruṣān — menservants; striyaḥ — and women; majjana — of cleansing; karmaṇiin the work.

TRANSLATION

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Having thus instructed the kings, Lord Kṛṣṇa, the supreme master of all the worlds, engaged male and female servants in bathing and grooming them.
