kiḿ nv ācaritam asmābhir
malayānila te 'priyam
govindāpāńga-nirbhinne
hṛdīrayasi naḥ smaram
SYNONYMS
kim — what; nu — indeed; ācaritam — action done; asmābhiḥ — by us; malaya — of the Malaya mountain range; anila — O wind; te — to you; apriyam — displeasing; govinda — of Kṛṣṇa; apāńga — by the sidelong glances; nirbhinne — which has been shattered; hṛdi — in the hearts; īrayasi — you are inspiring; naḥ — our; smaram — lust.
TRANSLATION
O Malayan breeze, what have we done to displease you, so that you stir up lust in our hearts, which have already been shattered by Govinda's sidelong glances?
