Bhaktivedanta VedaBase: Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 7.3.8

tasyāyaḿ kila sańkalpaś

carato duścaraḿ tapaḥ

śrūyatāḿ kiḿ na viditas

tavāthāpi niveditam

SYNONYMS

tasya — his; ayam — this; kila — indeed; sańkalpaḥ — determination; carataḥ — who is executing; duścaram — very difficult; tapaḥ — austerity; śrūyatām — let it be heard; kim — what; na — not; viditaḥ — known; tava — of you; athāpi — still; niveditam — submitted.

TRANSLATION

Hiraṇyakaśipu has undertaken a most severe type of austerity. Although his plan is not unknown to you, kindly listen as we submit his intentions.
