vṛddha jarātura āmi andha, badhira

hasta hāle, mano-buddhi nahe mora sthira

SYNONYMS

vṛddhaan old man; jarā-ātura — troubled by invalidity; āmiI; andha — blind; badhira — deaf; hasta hāle — my hands tremble; manaḥ-buddhi — mind and intelligence; nahe — not; mora — my; sthira — steady.

TRANSLATION

I am old and troubled by invalidity. I am almost blind and deaf, my hands tremble, and my mind and intelligence are unsteady.
