dekhiyā ta' chadma kaila yena dekhe nāñi

mukundere puche, — kāhāń bhāratī-gosāñi

SYNONYMS

dekhiyā — seeing; ta' — certainly; chadma kaila — pretended; yenaas if; dekhe — sees; nāñi — not; mukundere puche — inquired from Mukunda; kāhāń — where; bhāratī-gosāñiBrahmānanda Bhāratī, my spiritual master.

TRANSLATION

Seeing Brahmānanda Bhāratī wearing the deerskin, Caitanya Mahāprabhu pretended not to see him. Instead, He asked Mukunda Datta, "Where is Brahmānanda Bhāratī, My spiritual master?"
