saba loka āsi' tāńre kare bahu bhakti

SYNONYMS

mādhava-purīŚrī Mādhavendra Purī; śrīpādasannyāsī; āila — has come; loke — among the people; haila — there was; khyāti — reputation; saba loka — all people; āsi' — coming; tāńre — unto him; karedo; bahu — much; bhakti — devotion.

TRANSLATION

When Mādhavendra Purī came to Jagannātha Purī, people were aware of his transcendental reputation. Therefore crowds of people came and offered him all sorts of respect in devotion.
