prathama līlāya tāńra 'viśvambhara' nāma
bhakti-rase bharila, dharila bhūta-grāma
SYNONYMS
prathama — first; līlāya — in the pastimes; tāńra — of Him; viśvambhara nāma — the name Viśvambhara; bhakti-rase — with the mellow of devotional service; bharila — He filled; dharila — saved; bhūta-grāma — all the living entities.
TRANSLATION
In His early pastimes He is known as Viśvambhara because He floods the world with the nectar of devotion and thus saves the living beings.
