skandhera upare bahu śākhā upajila
upari upari śākhā asańkhya ha-ila
SYNONYMS
skandhera upare — upon the trunk; bahu śākhā — many branches; upajila — grew; upari upari — over and above them; śākhā — other branches; asańkhya — innumerable; ha-ila — fructified.
TRANSLATION
From the trunk grew many branches, and above them innumerable others.
