nimba-vārtākī, āra bhṛṣṭa-paṭola

SYNONYMS

maricera jhālaa pungent preparation with black pepper; āraas well as; madhurāmlaa sweet-and-sour preparation; āra — also; ādā — ginger; lavaṇa — salted preparations; lembu — lime; dugdha — milk; dadhi — yogurt; khaṇḍa-sāra — cheese; śāka dui-cāri — spinach of two to four kinds; āra — and; sukutāra jholaa soup made of bitter melon; nimba-vārtākī — eggplant mixed with nimba leaves; āra — and; bhṛṣṭa-paṭola — fried paṭola.

TRANSLATION

They offered pungent preparations made with black pepper, sweet-and-sour preparations, ginger, salty preparations, limes, milk, yogurt, cheese, two or four kinds of spinach, soup made with bitter melon, eggplant mixed with nimba flowers, and fried paṭola.
