bhojana dekhi' yadyapi tāńra hṛdaye ullāsa
nṛsiḿha lakṣya kari' bāhye kichu kare duḥkhābhāsa
SYNONYMS
bhojana dekhi' — seeing the eating; yadyapi — although; tāńra hṛdaye — within his heart; ullāsa — jubilation; nṛsiḿha — Lord Nṛsiḿhadeva; lakṣya kari' — for the sake of; bāhye — externally; kichu — some; kare — does; duḥkha-ābhāsa — expression of disappointment.
TRANSLATION
Although Nṛsiḿha Brahmacārī felt jubilation within his heart to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu eating everything, for the sake of Lord Nṛsiḿhadeva he externally expressed disappointment.
