tāra madhye śivānanda-sańge kukkura āilā
prabhu tāre kṛṣṇa kahāñā mukta karilā
SYNONYMS
tāra madhye — in that chapter; śivānanda-sańge — with Śivānanda Sena; kukkura — the dog; āilā — came; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāre — unto him (the dog); kṛṣṇa kahāñā — inducing to chant Kṛṣṇa; mukta karilā — liberated.
TRANSLATION
That chapter also describes the incident of Śivānanda Sena's dog, who was induced by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu to chant the holy name of Kṛṣṇa and was thus liberated.
