prabhura āgamana teńha tāhāńñi śunila

śīghra nīlācala yāite tāńra icchā haila

SYNONYMS

prabhura āgamana — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's return; teńha — he; tāhāńñi — there; śunila — heard; śīghra — very soon; nīlācala — to Jagannātha Purī; yāite — to go; tāńra — his; icchā — desire; haila — became.

TRANSLATION

While residing at the house of Śacīmātā, Paramānanda Purī heard the news of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's return to Jagannātha Purī. He therefore decided to go there as soon as possible.
