cāri-dike bhakta-ańga kaila prakṣālana
śrāvaṇera megha yena kare variṣaṇa
SYNONYMS
cāri-dike — all around; bhakta-ańga — the bodies of the devotees; kaila — did; prakṣālana — washing; śrāvaṇera megha — exactly like a cloud in the month of Śrāvaṇa (July-August); yena — as if; kare variṣaṇa — pour.
TRANSLATION
In this way Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu washed the bodies of all the devotees with the tears from His eyes. The tears poured like the rains in the month of Śrāvaṇa.
