lakṣmī-sańge dāsī-gaṇera prāgalbhya dekhiyā
hāse mahāprabhura gaṇa mukhe hasta diyā
SYNONYMS
lakṣmī-sańge — in the company of the goddess of fortune; dāsī-gaṇera — of the maidservants; prāgalbhya — impudence; dekhiyā — after seeing; hāse — smile; mahāprabhura — of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; gaṇa — the companions; mukhe — on their faces; hasta — hands; diyā — covering.
TRANSLATION
When Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's associates saw such impudence exhibited by the maidservants of the goddess of fortune, they covered their faces with their hands and began to smile.
