śuni' sanātana tāre karilā bhartsana
'sańge kene āniyācha ei kāla-yama?'
SYNONYMS
śuni' — hearing; sanātana — Sanātana Gosvāmī; tāre — him; karilā bhartsana — chastised; sańge — with you; kene — why; āniyācha — have you brought; ei — this; kāla-yama — death knell.
TRANSLATION
Hearing this, Sanātana Gosvāmī chastised his servant, saying, "Why have you brought this death knell with you?"
