'pariṇāma-vāda' — vyāsa-sūtrera sammata

acintya-śakti īśvara jagad-rūpe pariṇata

SYNONYMS

pariṇāma-vāda — the theory of transformation; vyāsa-sūtrera — of the Vedānta-sūtra; sammata — purpose; acintya-śakti — inconceivable power; īśvara — the Supreme Personality of Godhead; jagat-rūpein the form of the cosmic manifestation; pariṇata — transformed.

TRANSLATION

"The Vedānta-sūtra aims at establishing that the cosmic manifestation has come into being by the transformation of the inconceivable potency of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
