prabhura kṛpā dekhi' tāńra vismaya haila mana
śloka paḍi' pāye dhari, karaye stavana
SYNONYMS
prabhura — of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kṛpā — the mercy; dekhi' — seeing; tāńra — of the brāhmaṇa Vāsudeva; vismaya haila mana — there was astonishment in his mind; śloka paḍi' — reciting a verse; pāye dhari — touching His lotus feet; karaye stavana — offers prayers.
TRANSLATION
The brāhmaṇa Vāsudeva was astonished to behold the wonderful mercy of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and he began to recite a verse from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, touching the Lord's lotus feet.
