śyāmasundara te dāsyaḥ
karavāma tavoditam
dehi vāsāḿsi dharma-jña
no ced rājñe bruvāma he
SYNONYMS
śyāmasundara — O Lord Śyāmasundara; te — Your; dāsyaḥ — maidservants; karavāma — we shall do; tava — by You; uditam — what is spoken; dehi — please give; vāsāḿsi — our clothing; dharma-jña — O knower of religion; na — not; u — indeed; cet — if; rājñe — to the king; bruvāmaḥ — we shall tell; he — O Kṛṣṇa.
TRANSLATION
O Śyāmasundara, we are Your maidservants and must do whatever You say. But give us back our clothing. You know what the religious principles are, and if You don't give us our clothes we will have to tell the king. Please!
