tato bāhu-sahasreṇa

nānāyudha-dharo 'suraḥ

mumoca parama-kruddho

bāṇāḿś cakrāyudhe nṛpa

SYNONYMS

tataḥ — thereupon; bāhu — with his arms; sahasreṇa — one thousand; nānā — numerous; āyudha — weapons; dharaḥ — carrying; asuraḥ — the demon; mumoca — released; parama — supremely; kruddhaḥ — angry; bāṇān — arrows; cakra-āyudhe — at Him whose weapon is the disc; nṛpaO King (Parīkṣit).

TRANSLATION

Carrying numerous weapons in his thousand hands, O King, the terribly infuriated demon shot many arrows at Lord Kṛṣṇa, the carrier of the disc weapon.
