vidūrathas tu tad-bhrātā
bhrātṛ-śoka-pariplutaḥ
āgacchad asi-carmābhyām
ucchvasaḿs taj-jighāḿsayā
SYNONYMS
vidūrathaḥ — Vidūratha; tu — but; tat — his, Dantavakra's; bhrātā — brother; bhrātṛ — for his brother; śoka — in sorrow; pariplutaḥ — submerged; āgacchat — came forward; asi — with sword; carmābhyām — and shield; ucchvasan — breathing heavily; tat — Him, Lord Kṛṣṇa; jighāḿsayā — wanting to kill.
TRANSLATION
But then Dantavakra's brother Vidūratha, immersed in sorrow over his brother's death, came forward breathing heavily, sword and shield in hand. He wanted to kill the Lord.
