namo bhagavate tasmai

kṛṣṇāyākuṇṭha-medhase

yat-pādāmburuha-dhyānāt

saḿhitām adhyagām imām

SYNONYMS

namaḥ — obeisances; bhagavateto the Supreme Personality of Godhead; tasmaito Him; kṛṣṇāya — Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa; akuṇṭha-medhase — whose power is never impeded; yat — whose; pāda-ambu-ruha — upon the lotus feet; dhyānāt — by meditation; saḿhitām — the scripture; adhyagāmI have assimilated; imām — this.

TRANSLATION

I offer my obeisances to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the invincible Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Simply by meditating upon His lotus feet I have been able to study and appreciate this great literature.
