ei pada gāya mukunda madhura susvare

śuniyā prabhura citta antare vidare

SYNONYMS

ei pada — this stanza; gāya — sings; mukundaMukunda; madhura — sweet; su-svarein a voice; śuniyā — hearing; prabhura — of the Lord; citta — mind; antare — within; vidare — splits into pieces.

TRANSLATION

This stanza was sung by Mukunda in a very sweet voice, but as soon as Caitanya Mahāprabhu heard this stanza, His mind went to pieces.
