sālokya-sārṣṭi-sāmīpya-

sārūpyaikatvam apy uta

dīyamānaḿ na gṛhṇanti

vinā mat-sevanaḿ janāḥ

SYNONYMS

sālokya — the liberation of living in the same planet as the Lord; sārṣṭito have opulence exactly like that of the Lord; sāmīpyato associate always with the Lord; sārūpyato achieve a body like that of the Lord; ekatvamto merge into the body of the Lord; api — although; utait is said; dīyamānam — being offered; na — not; gṛhṇantido accept; vinā — without; mat — My; sevanam — service; janāḥ — the pure devotees.

TRANSLATION

Sārvabhauma Bhaṭṭācārya concluded, "'Even though he is offered all kinds of liberation, the pure devotee does not accept them. He is fully satisfied engaging in the service of the Lord.'"
