evaḿ svāyambhuvaḥ pautram

anuśāsya manur dhruvam

tenābhivanditaḥ sākam

ṛṣibhiḥ sva-puraḿ yayau

SYNONYMS

evam — thus; svāyambhuvaḥ — Lord Svāyambhuva Manu; pautramto his grandson; anuśāsya — after giving instruction; manuḥ — Lord Manu; dhruvamto Dhruva Mahārāja; tena — by him; abhivanditaḥ — being offered obeisances to; sākam — together; ṛṣibhiḥ — with the sages; sva-puramto his own abode; yayau — went.

TRANSLATION

Thus Svāyambhuva Manu, after giving instruction to Dhruva Mahārāja, his grandson, received respectful obeisances from him. Then Lord Manu and the great sages went back to their respective homes.

Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports of the Fourth Canto, Eleventh Chapter, of the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, entitled "Svāyambhuva Manu Advises Dhruva Mahārāja to Stop Fighting."
