tabe dāmodara cali' nadīyā āilā
mātāre miliyā tāńra caraṇe rahilā
SYNONYMS
tabe — then; dāmodara — Dāmodara Paṇḍita; cali' — walking; nadīyā āilā — reached Nadia (Navadvīpa); mātāre miliyā — just after meeting Śacīmātā; tāńra caraṇe — at her lotus feet; rahilā — remained.
TRANSLATION
In this way Dāmodara Paṇḍita went to Nadia [Navadvīpa]. After meeting mother Śacī, he stayed under the care of her lotus feet.
