ye-se śāstra śunite icchā upaje tomāra

SYNONYMS

svarūpa kaheSvarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī said; tumi — you; gopacowherd boy; parama-udāra — very liberal; ye-se śāstra — anything written as scripture; śuniteto hear; icchā — desire; upaje — awakens; tomāra — of you.

TRANSLATION

Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī replied, "Dear Bhagavān Ācārya, you are a very liberal cowherd boy. Sometimes the desire awakens within you to hear any kind of poetry.
