advaita-nityānandādi yata bhakta-jana
sabā ālińgana kari' kahena gosāñi
sabe ājñā deha' — āmi nīlācale yāi
SYNONYMS
ihāń — here (at Śāntipura); prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; ekatra kari' — assembling in one place; saba bhakta-gaṇa — all the devotees; advaita-nityānanda-ādi — headed by Advaita Ācārya and Nityānanda Prabhu; yata bhakta-jana — all the devotees; sabā ālińgana kari' — embracing every one of them; kahena gosāñi — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said; sabe — all of you; ājñā deha' — just give Me permission; āmi — I; nīlācale — to Nīlācala, Jagannātha Purī; yāi — may go.
TRANSLATION
Meanwhile, at Śāntipura, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu assembled all His devotees — headed by Advaita Ācārya and Nityānanda Prabhu — embraced them all and asked their permission to return to Jagannātha Purī.
