tayā tirohitatvāc ca
śaktiḥ kṣetra-jña-saḿjñitā
sarva-bhūteṣu bhū-pāla
tāratamyena vartate
SYNONYMS
tayā — by her; tirohitatvāt — from being under the influence; ca — also; śaktiḥ — the potency; kṣetra-jña — kṣetra-jña; saḿjñitā — known by the name; sarva-bhūteṣu — in different types of bodies; bhū-pāla — O King; tāratamyena — in different degrees; vartate — exists.
TRANSLATION
"'This living entity, covered by the influence of nescience, exists in different forms in the material condition. O King, he is thus proportionately freed from the influence of the material energy, to greater or lesser degrees.'
